New VuePix Scoreboard for Monash University

A new VuePix Scoreboard has made a big impact at Monash University's Clayton campus in Melbourne. The 4x5 metre P20 RealPix screen with multi-media capabilities has replaced the existing scoreboard at Oval 1. Thanks to great colour uniformity and high resolution the Scoreboard is now visible and crystal clear from any angle on the circumference around the oval and even from longer viewing distances.

The new LED Scoreboard consisting of 16 VuePix P20 Outdoor panels is mounted to the existing sports pavilion at a height of approximately three meters. With IP65 waterproof protection and excellent heat management the Scoreboard is designed to endure all weather conditions.

Marcel Takac from ULA Group comments: "The VuePix scoreboard provides many more options for various sporting codes. The ease of operation means that sporting staff are able to utilise this screen without any previous experience. Apart from a great scoring display, presentations and movie clips come out in vibrant colours. The screen has been well received by all."

ULA Group has also supplied customized software for the Scoreboard. While it will be the cricket and football clubs that benefit the most from the new high-bright LED screen, the multi-media capabilities of the scoreboard mean that other avenues for sharing this resource can be explored in the future, including advertising and other revenue generation initiatives.
