Melbas on the Park, an icon in entertainment on the Gold Coast for almost 4 decades, has scored a new VuePix Infiled LED screen.
Located in central Surfers Paradise on Cavil Avenue, Melbas is a dynamic entertainment hub reflecting the personality of the Gold Coast as Australia’s premier entertainment destination. The venue’s Restaurant & Bar area offers a relaxed atmosphere that allows you to unwind surrounded by friends, locals and holiday goers.
The new VuePix Infiled ER Screen, installed within the bar area, entertains patrons while they are enjoying the venue’s chilled out vibe. Replacing the old LED screen, the new VuePix technology is used to create atmosphere for different functions, events & themed evenings. Streaming a mixture of sports & music videos, advertisement of upcoming events in Melbas, or completely personalised content created for specific occasions – corporate functions, birthdays, engagements, bucks & hens parties or even weddings.

Delivery time was crucial for this project, the client wanted a new screen delivered and installed for a specific event within weeks. The VuePix team worked close with Rick Munday, the manager of the venue, to offer the best solution to meet his requirements and to deliver within the tight timeframe.
VuePix Infiled ER 3.9mm indoor screen was attached to the southern wall of the bar area. The four meters wide and 2 meters tall screen provides a great visual experience. A high brightness and high refresh rate is ideal for streaming live sport events as AFL & NRL matches, Moto GP or cars racing, making the venue an ultimate destination during the V8 supercars race on the Gold Coast. Novastar VX4S all-in-one video processor is used to control, scale and optimize the content to deliver superb visual performance for all the guests to enjoy.
